Pleasure. Voice. Woman.
A Workshop in Voice Liberation
A workshop for women to explore the power of pleasure, the voice and the wisdom of the body, as gateways to deeper presence, freedom and aliveness.
In-person, Friday 3 October, 10:30 - 17:00
Common Ground, Zeeburgerdijk 265
Do you feel there is more life in you than you’re currently living?
More expression. More aliveness. More pleasure.
This day is an initiation into the woman inside you who remembers:
-
her body is sacred
-
her voice matters
-
her pleasure is power
This workshop is for you if you:
-
Feel a longing for more aliveness, space and freedom in your body and voice.
-
Notice you often hold back—sexually, emotionally, vocally.
-
Crave a deeper connection with your sexuality and creative energy.
-
Are curious to explore your voice as a tool for expression, release and liberation.
-
Desire to feel more pleasure—not only in intimacy, but in life itself.
Voice Liberation
Singing is a powerful way to explore freedom, pleasure — and pain. By giving sound to what is alive in the moment, we can release what has been held inside. Often, we discover movements, emotions, or stories we didn’t even know we carried.
Through this practice, the voice becomes a key to:
-
bringing movement to what feels stagnant
-
expressing what has longed for space
-
touching hidden layers of sensitivity, power, and presence
-
Exploring surrendering to the unknown
Again and again, my experience is one of expansion:
Am I really this powerful? This free? This alive? This spacious?
Voice liberation is not about singing beautifully or performing. It is about using your voice as a bridge between inner and outer worlds — to see yourself, to express and to be seen and met, to open space inside, and to embody your truth.
Nobody has your voice. Nobody has your body. Nobody has your story. And yet I am convinced: everybody can sing.
Maybe you sing professionally, but still feel something remains unexpressed.
Perhaps you love to sing alone, but not when others are listening.
Or you think you can’t sing at all — yet feel a longing to explore your voice.
Or you notice a pressure in your throat, or a struggle to express yourself.

What we’ll explore:
-
What is pleasure and identifying what stands between you and experiencing the pleasure you long for.
-
Expanding your capacity to receive pleasure—in body and life.
-
Awakening untapped pathways of aliveness, sensuality and creativity.
-
Reclaiming your sexuality as your vital, generative life force.
-
Using your voice to release, express and embody your truth.

What to expect:
-
Choice! Nothing is obligatory and I will remember you of choice through out the day.
-
A group of women, which I find time and time again so warm, soft and powerful (max. 12 women)
-
Bodywork, meditation, and voice exercises
-
Singing solo, in pairs, and in the group
-
Practices in duo or small groups, with touch (not on intimate parts), movement, voice.
-
Group sharing.
You don’t need to know how to sing. We keep returning to the question: what is alive in me right now? And how does this sound in my singing? The focus is on connecting with what lives inside you, and allowing your voice to emerge from that place.
Welcome
My name is Marije.
Since 2010, I’ve been facilitating groups and teaching Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Together with my partner Bonno Lange, I guide couples in our course The Art of Making Love — a journey into manifesting the potential of the couple. For Connecting2Life I teach Nonviolent Communication.
My mission is to support myself and others to welcome all of life, to connect with the full spectrum of being human.
I love realness — when there is honesty, transparency, and vulnerability, I feel most alive and open. I create spaces where our humanness is welcome: where we can drop the masks, move beyond politeness, and meet each other in what is alive moment to moment. Places where pain and longing can be seen, where we can mourn and celebrate together — and grow into the fullness that we already are.
Through embodying Nonviolent Communication, voice liberation, and working with sexual energy, I have found more joy, clarity, connection, and confidence — and I feel deeply called to support others on this journey too.
